Paddle Canada Level III Sea Kayak Skills

Paddle Canada’s advanced-level sea kayaking skills course provides rough-water, scenarios-based training for prospective trip leaders and expedition paddlers. Level III skills builds on previous Paddle Canada courses by reviewing fundamental paddling skills and perfecting them in wind, waves and current. Theory topics include advanced navigation and tidal planning techniques. On this five-day course you will be responsible for leading a group of paddlers on a wilderness trip in challenging conditions and responding to a variety of rescue-based scenarios.
