Home / Adventures / Sea Kayak Lake Superior’s Northern Crown
From the quaint village of Rossport in the newly created Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area, this weeklong sea kayak adventure traces the northernmost shore of Lake Superior to the town of Marathon. This wilderness area features remote islands, rugged headlands and a unique volcanic geology. The sweeping coastline of Neys Provincial Park, made famous by Group of Seven painter Lawren Harris, is a scenic highlight. Since the coastline is very exposed, this 120-kilometre-long trip is suitable for intermediate to advanced sea kayakers with experience paddling in wind and waves. Offered in conjunction with Naturally Superior Adventures.
